For more details, please visit : www.piramalpharmasolutions.com Job Title Senior Executive-Safety Job Description Process Safety Executive supporting Day to Day Process Safety Activities 1. Active role in supporting the organization’s initiative on process safety improvement program at site. 2. Imparting Process Safety trainings (awareness and skilled training; introductory and refresher training). 3. Primary responsibility of Supporting Process Safety Manager in the site. 4. Carrying out & tracking HAZARD Studies for existing and new processes thru multi- disciplinary teams. 5. Analysis of all change controls raised in the plant for safety impact and recommending safety requirements (Management of Change). Verification of the MoC recommendations. 6. Pre-Start-up Safety Review of the newly installed systems or after major modifications in the plants. Identifying the pre and post start-up requirements. 7. Having good knowledge, implementation of Management systems like ISO-14001 & 45001. 8. Need based Work Permits: Training plant & EHS persons on the Permit System, cross- checking of permits issued, field checks during execution, monitoring during critical works (heavy machinery erection / movement, hot works in plant areas, other risky works – height, handling of hazard chemicals, etc.) & Preparation and review of the Job Safety Analysis, for routine and non-routine works (operation or maintenance). 9. Identification of all Confined Spaces in plant; ensuring - isolations during vessel entry & monitoring during the work; providing rescue device and training. 10. Equipment/Machine guarding – of rotating / moving parts, preventing slips and falls or hits against body parts. Inspection of hoists, guards, lifting tools & tackles. 11. Implementing electrical equipment’s for zone classification, integrity of flame-proof worthiness, equipment earthing, isolation during maintenance works (LOTO) and adherence to electrical procedures / standards. 12. Ensure all process safety incidents are reported in the system and conduct investigations; developing root cause analysis and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions. 13. Supporting for second party, external audits, customer audits and monitor corrective and preventive actions for closure. 14. Conducting process safety audits / inspections on a periodical basis, in all sections of the plant and rectifying the gaps found. 15. Static controls: Create awareness, training plant persons, providing tools, monitoring usage. 16. Implementation of Site EHS procedures as per site plan. 17. Supporting Safety & Health CAPEX projects as per timeline. 18. Ensure for Equipment Safety Inspections and work with CFT to address the gaps. 19. Good Documentation and preservation of safety documents. 20. Supporting and Executing EHS Promotional activities including wellness sessions. 21. Supporting and implementation of Project Light house – Cultural transformation journey in the unit.
