Executive - Product Safety (BASED AT JORDAN) MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor and ensure product safety procedures with regard to the total process are adhered to in order to meet customer quality requirements and support the continuous improvement of same KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with guidelines are laid out in the product safety manual/ Nike product safety protocols given by the customer in order to certify that garments are produced in line with consumer safety standards whilst maintaining records methodically for relevant perusal. Conduct following audits to ensure all processes &process owners are adhered to product safety requirements & procedures. Froward audit report for management pursues. Responsible for Heat seal process and must do following activities relate to Heat seal process Conduct training programs to existing and new employees on product safety procedures/requirements and its relative importance by coordinating with relevant key persons. Monitor the following activities in order to ensure adherence/ compliance to Metal contamination prevention (MCP) and Metal Detection (MD) process to facilitate smooth operations Monitor and follow-up on the performance of the following machines/ equipment related to the MD process and ensure they are calibrated within the stipulated time whilst, maintaining records in an orderly manner for perusal. Conduct all Nike related product safety tests and implement/ maintain all safety procedures across the plant by coordinating with relevant personnel Monitor BIQ functions and implementation hit rate by coordinating with plants and engaging the DLE team for BIQ reviews. Drive A3 projects and action plans effectively, and coordinate plant craftsmanship assessments conducted by NCA, Division, and GLE teams. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree/ Diploma in Textiles, Garment Technology or related field from a recognized Institute. 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity. Good understanding of the overall production processes and Product safety aspects. Good Coordination/ Communication skills. knowledge in health and safety standards.
