Executive - Production (Based at Biyagama) The Activewear Value Stream delivers high-performance sportswear and athleisure solutions designed for technical functionality, durability and everyday versatility— serving sports, lifestyle and performance segments. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to assist in overseeing and ensuring that all production activities at the given modules are completed in an efficient and timely manner by monitoring the process, solving any issues whilst providing leadership and motivation to the assigned teams and implementing plans to achieve the sectional Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare internal daily and weekly plans to achieve the assigned production plan together with group members whilst monitoring the execution of same in order to achieve set targets. Monitor and take action on Pit-to-Pit issues, achieving same according to the plan. In the event issues prevail, coordinate with planning and relevant front-end teams to re-plan the fall out quantities. Coordinate with quality, Industrial Engineering and mechanical teams to ensure that critical quality and technical issues are identified and resolved quickly to facilitate the achievement of targets whilst reacting to And on and solving issues in a timely manner. Follow-up closely on output quantities and size ratios whilst also following-up with the respective departments on same in order to ensure size ratios are completed as per shipment plans. Facilitate the reconciliation process by carrying out 100% physical reconciliation of input, accessories and output of same whilst monitoring the consumption of elastic, thread and buttons and preparing style reconciliation reports to ensure all balances are completely flushed from the modules within 24-hours of shipment. Follow-up closely on output quantities, size ratios whilst also following-up with the respective departments on same in order to ensure size ratios are completed as per shipment plans. Analyze and study in-coming styles, and proactively coordinate with relevant teams to ensure effective style-change and achievement of efficiency ladder by focusing on the following: Attend Production planning meetings, obtain and communicate required information to the team. Work with Work Study and Mechanical teams to ensure the availability of machinery and attachments during break-downs. Prepare machine layouts within the given guidelines. Ensure the timely completion of black-seal samples by team-leaders. Decide on the resource allocation to achieve planned standard hours and output targets. Assign operators to ensure optimum use of operator skill levels. Modify layouts whilst rebalancing lines as required, to meet the expected targets. Monitor line Work in Progress levels, take steps to remove bottle-necks and maintain a balanced flow within same whilst coordinating with Cutting, Stores to obtain cuts, Raw Material in the case of low Work in Progress and resolving issues in the event of high line Work in Progress levels. Adhere to instructions from the Superior regarding decisions and instructions obtained via the daily production meeting, conduct operator meetings on a daily basis for each module, ensuring decisions are transferred into the process in an effective manner thereby, facilitating the production process. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Physical Science and specialized Mathematics stream. Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field. Communication Skills. Negotiation Skills.

Responsibilities

The Executive - Production will oversee and ensure all production activities within assigned modules are completed efficiently and on time by monitoring processes, solving issues, and leading teams. Key duties include preparing daily/weekly plans, coordinating issue resolution with technical teams, and managing output quantities and size ratios to meet shipment plans.
