To learn more about us, visit https://www.guardiansecurity.com/   Kindness – Growth Mindset – Technical Excellence – Safety – Predictable Success – Customer Heroes Position Summary: The Technical Project Manager (TPM) for Central Station Dispatching Operations will lead technology-driven initiatives that improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and team effectiveness across Guardian Security’s dispatching, MAS, and contact center environments. This individual must learn dispatching workflows firsthand to effectively manage related projects, working closely with IT, operations, and vendor partners to oversee implementations, integrations, and equipment upgrades. Schedule: M-F, 7:30 – 4:30 PST Work Setting: Onsite/Hybrid Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 annually About the Position: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned as needed:  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Project Management (40%) * Plan, coordinate, and execute projects impacting MAS, contact center systems, receivers, and dispatch infrastructure. * Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring delivery on schedule and within cost parameters. * Liaison between IT and operations teams to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements. * Maintain risk registers, track milestones, and deliver progress reports to leadership. Operational Immersion (20%) * Learn dispatching procedures, call flow management, and alarm response systems to gain full operational context. * Shadow dispatch teams to identify pain points and translate them into actionable technical improvements. * Act as a bridge between end users and IT to ensure project outcomes improve day-to-day workflow efficiency. Systems Integration & Technical Oversight (25%) * Collaborate with IT on integration of MAS, contact center software, and receiver technologies. * Oversee installation and testing of new equipment, including servers, network appliances, and telephony systems. * Ensure compliance with UL standards and data protection requirements for security systems. Training & Support (15%) * Develop training materials and onboarding plans for dispatch and IT personnel on new systems. * Support user adoption through communication, documentation, and post-launch evaluations. Provide leadership in post-deployment troubleshooting and optimization. Key Competencies: • Strong understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and contact center technologies.  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise across departments.  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills.  • Commitment to understanding and improving dispatch and monitoring operations. Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in security, monitoring, or call center environments.  • PMP or Agile certification preferred.  • Experience with MAS, VoIP systems, alarm receivers, and ticketing software highly desired.  Computer Skills: • MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, MAS, contact center systems, Power BI, Dynamics 365 familiarity a plus. Physical Demands: • Sedentary role with occasional equipment setup and system testing.  • Typical office and dispatch center environment; occasional travel to project sites.  Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.  • Standard office environment; may require occasional travel to branches for system rollout support.
