Job Purpose: The Executive Project Engineer will lead and manage engineering activities for a range of marine projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications, while driving project success from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and implement engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. · Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, commercial, and HSQE, to facilitate seamless project execution. · Develop and review seafastening designs, ensuring cargo is securely restrained in accordance with project requirements and marine standards. · Perform stability calculation for vessels and barges, verifying compliance with intact and damaged stability criteria. · Conduct motion analyses to evaluate dynamic loads, accelerations, and their effects on cargo integrity and seafastening arrangements. · Support transport engineering and load-out/offload operations, ensuring safe execution and structural integrity under varying sea conditions. · Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for marine projects. · Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support project development. · Maintain project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. · Lead project meetings, providing status updates and managing stakeholder expectations. · Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. · Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting professional development within the team. · Participate in site inspections and audits as required. Joint Accountabilities: · Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure optimal project outcomes. · Ensure timely and accurate invoicing in coordination with Finance Department. · Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. · Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the marine industry, specifically in project engineering roles. · Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices. · Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other relevant engineering software. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. · Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
