IFS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Project Manager to join our team. The Executive Project Manager is vital member of the operations team. Job Summary: The Executive Project Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and execution of complex, high-value projects across the organization. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. The Executive Project Manager serves as a key liaison between executive leadership, clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, translating organizational objectives into actionable project strategies while driving operational excellence and risk management. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Duties/Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Governance Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale, high-impact projects aligned with organizational goals. Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, policies, and best practices. Provide executive-level reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics to senior leadership. Project Execution & Oversight Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Approve project plans, schedules, cost controls, and change management processes. Resolve escalated project issues, risks, and conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Project Financial and Risk Management Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost controls. Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including contractual, operational, and compliance risks. Review and approve change orders, claims, and amendments in coordination with legal and finance teams. Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project managers and cross-functional teams. Ensure appropriate staffing, resource allocation, and succession planning for project teams. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Project Compliance & Quality Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations. Enforce quality assurance and quality control standards across all projects. Requirements Qualifications: Education & Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, CCM, or equivalent strongly preferred. Experience Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive project management experience overseeing large-scale, complex projects. Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar project portfolios. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience operating at an executive or senior leadership level with direct exposure to C-suite or board-level reporting. Experience working with public-sector, private-sector, or regulated environments preferred. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel is required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent periods of repeating the same movements. Walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand.
