We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Protection Manager to support the development and implementation of executive protection strategies and solutions for our high-net-worth family. This critical role will ensure the safety and security of family members, staff, and assets, while also overseeing the management of executive protection teams and vendors. Core Duties & Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive executive protection policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure team-wide consistency and operational excellence Design and manage a quality assurance and auditing framework, conducting regular reviews of EP operations, advance work, and security detail activities to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal security teams, including residential security and global security, to ensure policies reflect a unified and integrated approach Manage and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other external partners Assist in developing and managing budgets for executive protection systems and projects Provide training and guidance to executive protection teams on best practices and protocols Ensure compliance with local regulations, laws, and standards for security and privacy Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and industry benchmarks in executive protection, integrating relevant developments into policy and standards frameworks Utilize project management tools, including Asana, to manage standards initiatives, track corrective actions, and report progress to leadership Participate in operational EP activities as needed to maintain field proficiency and provide grounded, practical input into standards development Skills & Work Requirements: 8+ years of experience in executive protection – family office experience preferred, law enforcement, or military Proven track record in developing and implementing effective executive protection strategies and solutions Expertise in executive protection systems, including advance work, surveillance detection, and security detail operations Strong understanding of security protocols and standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with family members, staff, and external stakeholders Preferred experience includes involvement in training program development or delivery, including use of Learning Management System (LMS) software Proficiency in Asana or comparable project management platforms for tracking initiatives, deadlines, and corrective actions Bachelor's degree in Security, Law Enforcement, or related field; advanced degree or certification is an asset Working Conditions Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of confidentiality and discretion Frequent travel for executive protection operations and training On-call availability for security incidents and emergencies Work closely with family members, staff, and external partners, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in both administrative and field security environments, with a focus on professional standards and operational quality Salary Range $140,000—$185,000 USD We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
