EXECUTIVE – REEFER OPERATION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect Reefer containers using instructions from the Fleet Manager and customer procedures. Diagnose malfunctions and prepare repair estimates. Perform repair operations on Reefer systems, including handling units, silver soldering, electrical wiring, and component connections. Conduct operational tests and adjust settings (temperature, pressure, regulation) as required. Carry out maintenance and monitoring at third-party sites, port terminals, and onboard docked ships. Complete service and fluid consumption reports and submit to the line manager or administrative department. Handle administrative tasks related to Reefer operations. Ensure repair quality in compliance with customer procedures, safety, and environmental standards. Meet deadlines and follow instructions from the Fleet Manager or Reefer Supervisor. Be available for on-call duties during nights/weekends for work at third-party sites or onboard ships. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Diploma or NVQ-level qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning from a recognized institution. Successful completion of GCE O/L and GCE A/L examinations. Hands-on experience with Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin & Star Cool brands (hardware and software). Background in energy refrigeration or maintenance. Refrigerant and low-voltage electrical certifications. Ability to read electrical diagrams and use measuring equipment. Familiarity with in-house operating tools and manufacturers’ software. Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

The Executive - Reefer Operation is responsible for inspecting and diagnosing malfunctions in Reefer containers, performing repairs, and conducting operational tests. They also handle administrative tasks and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
