Sales Operations – FTSE Russell is a middle office function which supports the Global Sales team in efficiently completing the sales process. Moreover, Sales Team is the key face of the business, and it is imperative that we provide adequate support for them to cascade down the best quality service and deliver value to our clients. In addition, Sales Operations work closely with other partners across the business including Finance, Credit Control, Legal & Product Development team. The primary scope of the operations is to provide the best possible information and support to Sales in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: As part of the Sales Operations Team and reporting to the Sales Operations Manager The individual will be responsible for the business administration of Global Sales Processing of all Sales transactions for the Global Sales Team in accordance with the ISD Sales process. Providing data to the finance and Legal departments and Client Management function to complete sales process. Qualifications/ Experience: Expected with limited supervision the candidate will be able to deliver each of the key objectives of the role identifies above. Educated to a minimum of ‘A’ level standard or equivalent Experience working in a client facing role Knowledge of financial markets companies and their use of indices preferable Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with the clients at all levels within the organisation and with key internal stakeholders Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with a particularly excellent telephone manner Good administrative and organisational skills – with a keen sight on accuracy and attention to detail Delivers on commitments, is pro-active and self-motivated. Listens actively to others, questioning to clarify and develop understanding Proficient in MS Office Products, in particular Excel Experience with Salesforce or another CRM System.
