EXECUTIVE SEARCH PARTNER

The ABB Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Search Partner to identify, attract and engage with premier leadership talent. In this key role, you will partner directly with senior executives, HR leaders, Talent Partners and Hiring Managers to recruit Director, VP, and SVP-level talent across ABB.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to ABB’s future by hiring the visionary leaders who will champion innovation and growth.
In this role you will report to the Global Head of Executive Search and Talent Sourcing.
- Work model: This role will preferably be based in Europe, in proximity to an ABB Office, and will follow a hybrid work model - subject to alignment with local employment regulations. #LI-hybrid.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on executive hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with business and HR leaders to understand organizational goals and translate them into effective executive search strategies.
  • Conduct end-to-end executive search processes: from intake and research to candidate engagement, assessment, and offer negotiation.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier passive talents.
  • Deliver high-quality candidate slates through direct sourcing, market mapping, and leveraging your executive network.
  • Conduct talent mapping and benchmarking to analyze the external talent landscape evaluating companies, skills, and geographic trends to inform search strategies and talent decisions.
  • Engage with the ABB’s Global Sourcing Community of Practice, contributing to the exchange of best practices, market insights, and the latest trends in executive sourcing across regions and business areas.
Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • 5+ years of executive search experience developed within executive search firms and/or global multinational organizations.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to source executive-level profiles in complex, matrixed, and global organizations. Ideally within high-tech or industrial sectors.
  • Wide-ranging experience in passive candidate sourcing, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping.
  • Profound business acumen with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage and inspire both candidates and internal partners.
  • Extensive experience with global recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority searches
    simultaneously in an agile, metrics-driven environment.
