Description

The Executive / Senior Executive, Community Partnership will manage the day-to-day operations of the Community Partnership function, with a focus on implementing priority fundraising strategies, initiatives and campaigns that help raise revenue to support the Foundation’s mission of granting life-changing wishes to children who are critically ill.
He/She will be responsible for cultivating relationships with individuals, donors, corporate partners, and community organisations to strengthen the Foundation’s profile. He/She may be expected to organise events to optimise fundraising contributions.
2. Key Responsibility Areas

Fundraising and Donor Engagement

  • Identify, cultivate, and steward donor relationships with individuals, businesses, and community organisations to maximise fundraising outcomes.
  • Drive fundraising revenue through securing donations, recurring gifts, legacy giving, grant applications,

online campaigns, and marquee events.

  • Maintain stewardship of existing donor relationships while actively cultivating new partnerships.
  • Develop and implement innovative giving programmes and donor recognition initiatives to ensure sustainable partnerships.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of priority fundraising campaigns, applying best practices to achieve revenue goals.

Events Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events (e.g., marquee events, charity runs, donor appreciation events, and community activations) to achieve revenue and engagement goals.

  • Develop event concepts and proposals aligned with Make-A-Wish Singapore’s mission and fundraising priorities.

  • Oversee event logistics, including budgeting, vendor management, sponsorship fulfilment, and donor/guest experience.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., sponsors, partners, volunteers) to deliver impactful events.
  • Track and evaluate event outcomes, ensuring learnings are documented and applied to future initiatives.
  • Ensure all events comply with governance, branding, and regulatory requirements.

Relationship Management – Donors & Corporate Partners

  • Build, strengthen, and steward long-term relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders to sustain and grow support.

  • Develop tailored engagement and recognition strategies to acknowledge contributions and demonstrate impact. - Identify opportunities for new partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations that align with Make-A-Wish Singapore’s mission and fundraising objectives.

  • Manage corporate giving programmes, employee engagement initiatives, and cause-marketing partnerships.

  • Serve as a point of contact for key donors and partners, ensuring timely communication, reporting, and relationship-building. - Work closely with leadership to engage high-value donors and cultivate prospective major gift opportunities.

  • Represent Make-A-Wish Singapore at external events, campaigns, and promotional activities as assigned.

  • Keep abreast of corporate partnership opportunities, policies, and resources relevant to fundraising and promotional programmes. Volunteer Engagement and Management

  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to engage and deploy volunteers in fundraising and event-related activities.
  • Provide clear direction and support to volunteers to ensure effective execution of fundraising and event logistics. Governance, Compliance and Administration
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records including budgets, revenue tracking, donor and partner databases, proposal forms, and licensing agreements.
  • Ensure that all fundraising projects and activities comply with the Charity Code of Governance and relevant regulatory requirements. Others
