[WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON]

The Industry Standards and Regulatory (ISR) Division supports AVS in overseeing the licensing and regulation of veterinary professionals and facilities in Singapore, ensuring high standards in animal health and welfare through comprehensive regulatory frameworks. The division works closely with industry partners to maintain professional standards and compliance within the veterinary sector and serves as the main touch-point for licensing and regulatory matters in the veterinary industry.
You will be part of the Licensing Branch under the ISR Division, playing a key role in managing various licensing processes and providing administrative support for veterinary professionals and facilities.

Your scope of work includes:

  • Processing of various types of licence applications and renewals (eg. Veterinarian Licensing, Veterinary Centre Licensing, etc.)
  • Handling licensing enquiries and providing support on licensing matters
  • Coordinate licensing briefings and distribute circulars
  • Maintain and manage licensing database and statistics
  • Manage and monitor submissions from licensees (eg. Annual Reports, regulatory submissions, etc.)
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems online platforms
Responsibilities

The Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of NParks, safeguards the health and welfare of animals through comprehensive and integrated programmes and works closely with partners in the veterinary and animal-related industries to strengthen capacities and enhance competencies in animal health and welfare. It is the main touch-point on animal and veterinary matters in Singapore and the first responder for all animal-related feedback. It also conducts public education and engagement programmes to foster a society where pet owners, communities, and animals co-exist in our City in Nature.
