Andaz Singapore, the first Andaz hotel in South East Asia is looking for an Executive Sous Chef.
Andaz meaning “personal style” in Hindi, is infused with character and weaves itself into the fabric of its locale. Andaz Singapore, strategically located in the city’s Ophir-Rochor district, sets to offer the rich cultural experiences embedded in the neighborhood, authentically. The hotel’s design reflects the vibrant, creative and energetic culture of Singapore’s expanded Central Business District (CBD), as well as the inspiring and unscripted style set forth by Andaz. At Andaz, we set the stage to ignite creative minds and bring eclectic souls together, be it guests or colleagues.
You are a highly experienced chef who is passionate in menu development and food presentation. You see yourself as a great assistant to the Executive Chef in leading, motivating and guiding the culinary team. As the second in-charge of the culinary team, you play a pivotal role driving menu innovation, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and sanitation.
Your great personality & charisma enables you to interact well with people, be it in the kitchen or dining area. You are a natural leader who enjoys mentoring and training the junior team members and one who is highly motivated by challenges along the way.
