You will drive daily operations, mentor and develop the culinary team, ensure executional excellence, and help maintain bartaco’s high standards for quality, presentation, and hospitality. You will serve as a cultural ambassador and operational leader, setting the tone for energy, collaboration, and growth. Guest Experience: Be relentlessly guest-focused, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our taste, quality, and presentation standards Oversee the flow of service, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with urgency ? Lead by example during peak shifts, embodying hospitality and attentiveness while maintaining pace and precision Culinary Team Leadership: Serve as a leader, coach, and mentor—cultivating a culture of development, accountability, and mutual respect Support the growth of Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dish team members through hands-on training and consistent feedback Promote team morale and drive performance through recognition, clear communication, and emotional intelligence ? Manage kitchen scheduling, ensuring proper staffing levels while supporting work-life balance and team well-being ? Participate in hiring and onboarding, identifying top culinary talent who align with the bartaco culture and standards Operational + Culinary Excellence: Own execution of daily prep, line checks, quality control, and cleanliness standards Manage food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols to ensure a spotless and compliant kitchen at all times ? Drive financial performance by managing inventory, controlling food cost, reducing waste, and analyzing kitchen data ?
