Join Teatro Ristorante and collaborate with industry leaders committed to quality and service in the iconic kitchens of one of Calgary’s best restaurants.
As the Executive Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary management team to create and execute exceptional dishes, maintain a positive culture of excellence, and mentor the team. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring recipe compliance, kitchen best practices, and safety regulations. Embrace a dynamic culinary environment where your expertise shapes memorable dining experiences.

What are the requirements to perform:

  • Oversee service and, at times, work a section in relief
  • Supply ordering
  • Assistance with time management/scheduling
  • Off-site events, catering execution
  • Work with and lead cooks, developing team members
  • Collaboration with culinary team members for menu development, recipe creation/standardization

  • Manual dexterity is required to use the tools of the trade
  • Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
