Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Sous Chef and leader to join our energetic and dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for culinary expression, attention to detail, hospitality, true guest connection, leadership experience and strong knowledge of culinary technique, inventory and cost control. We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef and Manager that leads the team with grace, kindness and skill. They will oversee the day to day service of the kitchen to ensure the restaurant enhances and maximizes each guest experience from beginning to end.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Effective management of the Back of House team, leading with grace, skill, enthusiasm and character
  • Deliver excellent and engaging guest service, creating a memorable dining experience for each and every guest
  • Manage the day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth and successful service for the restaurant
  • Manage food & labour costs and develop the culinary team
  • Assist team FOH and BOH to give guests the best culinary experience to our guests
  • Follow restaurant policies, procedures and service standards, lead the team to be accountable to follow our operational policies
  • Have full knowledge of all menus and promotions
  • Follow and lead the team with all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage and maintain a clean kitchen and restaurant
  • Other duties as assigned
