EXECUTIVE STEWARD The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Executive Steward. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Stewarding team, the Executive Steward works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Stewarding Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Ensure the organization and sanitation of all kitchens, storage areas, employee dining room, waste receptacle areas, compactor room, carts, tables, and Stewarding Department equipment and machinery through constant monitoring and adherence to a vigorous cleaning schedule. Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control. Ensure proper use and provide regular care, security and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the Stewarding Department. Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. The ability to work closely with the Executive Chief Steward to coordinate an adequate supply of china, silver, glass and other equipment used in service. WHAT TO BRING Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States Weekend & Holiday availability required Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage Previous supervisory experience is required.
