We’re looking for an experienced, highly organised Executive Support Manager to play a key role at the heart of East Sussex County Council. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Leader, Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive, ensuring the smooth running of the Council’s most senior offices. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Chief Executive’s and Civic Offices, building strong relationships across the Council and with partners. You’ll line manage a small team of support staff, ensuring a high quality service. Your work will include producing briefings and presentations, leading on small projects and policy work, managing the response to complex enquiries and complaints, and supporting civic and ceremonial functions. You’ll also support business planning, risk management and staff engagement.
