Role Overview The Executive will be part of KPMG India’s growing Regulatory practice, supporting clients in navigating India’s complex regulatory environment across Central Ministries, State Governments, regulators and statutory authorities. The role involves regulatory research, execution support, documentation, and coordination with government authorities, while working closely with senior team members on high‑impact regulatory engagements. This is a client‑facing, execution‑focused role requiring strong drafting, research and stakeholder coordination skills.   Key Responsibilities •       Support regulatory advisory engagements across industries involving: •        Central Government Ministries and Departments •        State Governments and State‑level authorities •        Sectoral regulators and statutory bodies (e.g., SEBI, MCA, DPIIT, MeitY, RBI, State Industrial Development Corporations, Pollution Control Boards)   •       Conduct detailed regulatory research and interpretation of: •        Acts, Rules, Notifications, Circulars and Policy documents •        Central and State‑specific regulatory frameworks   •       Prepare and maintain: •        Regulatory matrices, compliance trackers and issue logs •        Draft representations, applications, clarifications and responses to authorities •        Internal notes and client deliverables   •       Support licensing, approvals, registrations, inspections and regulatory filings •        Coordinate with government officials, consultants, lawyers and internal KPMG teams under supervision •        Track regulatory and policy developments and flag potential implications for clients •        Ensure high standards of documentation, independence, ethics and compliance with KPMG policies •        Work closely with global and domestic teams on multi‑state or multi‑jurisdictional engagements Equal employment opportunity information  KPMG India has a policy of providing equal opportunity for all applicants and employees regardless of their color, caste, religion, age, sex/gender, national origin, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability or other legally protected status.
