Executive - Technical (BASED AT KREEDA BIYAGAMA) MAS KREEDA, is a division of MAS Holdings, exclusively producing high-performance sportswear for Nike. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to be responsible for the heat transfer / Bonding application process from the development stage of styles to production across all three technologies of Cut and Sew, BRA and E Knit, by developing the expert knowledge, guiding and training relevant teams whilst collaborating with suppliers and internal and external customers with regard to the application process in order to ensure both product and process excellence is achieved. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Attend development meeting and provide recommendations on the most suitable methods, cost saving options, appropriate conditions, execution process etc. Engage with the relevant internal teams and ensure fabric/trims are sent to the heat seal suppliers/ Bonding suppliers and obtain their recommendations on the heat transfer & bonding application. Review the recommendations received from the heat transfer suppliers and ensure that the required adjustments are made in alignment with the type of machinery and processes that are followed at MAS Kreeda. Share the Heat seal application OBD with Industrial engineering team for the purpose of costing. Simplify selected critical heat application by providing options on techniques, changing the process etc. in order to minimize variation in the production and maintain a smooth flow. Provide necessary instructions and guide the relevant Heat Transfer Operator/s on the methods / machine & material to be used and guide them. Refer production plan & coordinate to complete the PDC thermal application requirement in order to ensure on-time sample deliveries to both internal and external customers. Provide input and guide relevant plants to ensuring that the required specification document/s (Time / temperature/ Pressure/ peel type/ silicon pad type and shape) are completed in an accurate manner with the required information. Share Thermal application-related best practices developed at PDC with manufacturing plants to ensure smooth product integration with plants and to reduce bulk start up time. Attend to requests made by non-MAS and MAS factories with regards to application requirements; provide technical support for Application, machinery, machine settings, etc. Assess the performance of the applied heat transfer/s/ Bonding applications by auditing and inspecting the same in order to ensure that the heat transfer applications are as per the standards stipulated by NIKE. Attend on time bulk issues related to application and machinery to support bulk issue resolution mechanism while coordinating with plant quality assurance teams. Engage with PDC engineering team and conduct modifications for existing machine attachments (Bonding & heat seals) in order to execute required operation at PDC and bulk plants. Practice the MOS initiatives during the day to day function such as PDCA, point kaizen and SQDCM. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree / diploma in textile or polymer science. 2- 3 years experience in a similar role. Experience in Garment technology or production.
