KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate at the sampling stage for new styles by performing the following activities in order to ensure all samples meet customer specifications. Attend Style briefing with relevant parties and discuss identify feasibility of doing this style, construction changes, measurement tolerance and issues related to the development of samples etc. in order to facilitate production. Conduct FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) at the style briefing stage. Analyse pre-production samples for new styles, identify possible production/ technical issues that could be encountered and propose preventive measures to make necessary adjustments for the bulk production process Participate in start-up meeting to discuss cut related issues and Verify the accuracy of complete style information such as the tech pack, trim card, BOM etc. Analyse samples, identify style specifications, quality points, measurements with the Tech pack and develop effective sewing methods together with the team facilitating a smooth production flow whilst also, transferring knowledge to the IE team in order to prepare Standard Work Sheets for new operations. Measure and compare the sample against the pattern whilst, preparing the report and forwarding same to relevant personal for perusal. Follow-up on changes included in the test cut feedback whilst, comparing same against the nested pattern and addressing issues by liaising with relevant parties such as PDC and CAD room. Participate and drive internal pre-production meetings for the team, explaining relevant information such as critical points, tech pack details, trim card etc. with relevant personnel prior to the commencement of bulk production. Follow-up on machine pre-settings/ pre-training prior to the commencement of production by coordinating with the relevant departments/ teams monitor the line feeding process and drive to achieve targets. Ensure the required output is achieved within the stipulated time frame as per the accepted standards, specially without any technical issues whilst, discussing with the relevant persons concerned to ensure maximum production output. Coordinate with the team whilst, directing and guiding them to resolve issues which may arise in areas such as Technical/ Cutting/ Patterns/ Consumption ensuring uninterrupted operations. Coordinate I-club activities and Ensure the target number of innovations is achieved within the given time frame as per the accepted standards and discussing with the relevant persons to maximise the number of members in I-club whilst, conducting the monthly forum. Ensure adherence to organizational standards such as SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S whilst, leading MOS initiatives within the team. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or Diploma in Textiles or related field from a recognized Institute and Technical college. 2-3 years of relevant work Experience Basic knowledge of machine settings and tools knowledge Coordination & analytical and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of machine settings and tools knowledge knowledge of Technical Sewing operation methods Good Analytical skills
Responsibilities
This role involves participating in the sampling stage for new styles to ensure customer specification adherence, including attending style briefings, conducting FMEA, and analyzing pre-production samples to identify and prevent potential technical issues. The executive will also drive internal pre-production meetings, coordinate machine pre-settings, monitor production feeding, and guide teams in resolving technical, cutting, pattern, and consumption issues to ensure uninterrupted operations and target achievement.
