REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on senior and executive-level roles.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring executive talent in a competitive market.
  • Proficiency with recruiting platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and applicant tracking systems.

  • Deep understanding of the technical landscape, including current technologies, platforms, and frameworks.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Executive Recruiter to join our high-impact Talent Acquisition team. This individual contributor role reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and plays a critical part in identifying, engaging, and hiring senior-level leaders who will drive innovation and transformation across Lumen
You will partner closely with executive leadership to align hiring strategies with business priorities, leveraging your deep market insight, stakeholder influence, and fluency in emerging technologies.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead full-cycle executive recruitment for executive leadership roles, from sourcing and engagement to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using referrals, networking, social media, events, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct market research, talent mapping, and competitive benchmarking to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Evaluate candidates through structured interviews, leadership assessments, and cultural fit analysis.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on hiring strategies, talent trends, and organizational design.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with executive talent and internal partners.
  • Leverage data and talent metrics to inform decision-making and optimize recruiting performance.
  • Stay current on industry trends, digital transformation, and the evolving future of work.
