Executive- Technology Entrepreneur (Based at Aqua :: Hanwella) The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. Positioned as a global centre of excellence, the Bodywear Value Stream combines advanced product innovation, technology-led solutions and operational scale to meet evolving consumer expectations across intimate and swim categories. We seek an employee to assist in generating technological resolutions with deep understanding of contributing variables, deliver sound proposals using convincing communication and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners based on current development methods in order to meet organizational objectives in the most beneficial manner taking the triple bottom-line into account. Key Responsibilities: Carry out style analyses, prepare & distribute information on operation sequence, methods, machine requirements and machine layouts to the relevant departments. Coordinate and work in partnership with the Automation and Industrial Innovations team to identify and improve the manufacturing process, that result in gains in lead time, costs and quality Product functional analysis and offer newness from construction, assembly, and raw material Product reengineering and simplification from construction and component modification. Conduct bonding operation and look at improvements from machinery, folders, methods and adhesive selection. Breaking down consumer needs in to technical needs and coming up with different solution for them. Identifying required technologies, research on technologies and evaluating the feasibility of new technologies. Liaising with chosen technology partners and bringing down samples & testing. Developing an initial proof of concept and minimal viable product. Validate tech solutions with consumers and refining the product with the consumer feedback and arriving at a marketable product. Involving the process of commercialization by providing technical details to create marketing material of the product. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors in mechanical engineering Bonding/ laser cut related experience Garment manufacturing process Textile and process knowledge ‐ added advantage
