Executive - Utility Infrastructure & Sustainability Based at Fabric Park, Thulhiriya MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets.   Key Responsibilities: * Inspect, Monitor, Supervise, Plan Ahead and Maintain all the Electrical and Control Systems of the Utility centres of Hydro & Environmental Department of MAS Fabric Park (Thulhiriya / Biyagama / Giriulla) under the direct supervision of Manager H & E. * Provide direct operational /maintenance & system availability feedbacks to the Director Utility & Engineering Services and Manager – H&E for ensuring Un-interrupted utility services to the investors / customers on 24/7 basis, whilst liaising with the plant / process operating teams. * Ensure All electrical and process control systems are up to date maintained as per the equipment and process specifications, whilst ensuring Electrical Safety aspects. * Ensure Electrical Safety aspects of the LV side power distribution and consumption centres / panels / cable paths and earthing systems. * Monitor gauges, meters and control panels; observe variations in operating conditions; interpret meter and gauge readings and test results to determine availability for processing requirements. * Teach / Guide plant operating teams on how to Operate Power and control panels, valves and gates, pumps, engines and electric motors to control and adjust flow, pressure and treatment processes; perform routine maintenance on filters, valves, tanks and related equipment and facilities; * Collect operational on-site data, Co-perform rehabilitative, corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance to structures, and related equipment that has failed or to improve performance and expand the service life of the various pumps, control panels, facilities and related equipment. * Lead / Performs Electrical Maintenance on Fire Pump System and monitor condition.   Knowledge and Skills: * Any combination of technical education and experience equivalent to three & half years of full time Technical level education and min. Of Ten (10) years of experience in water/wastewater system operations or related field. NAITA / HND / German Tech. Qualification is a key requirement. * Ability to work for continental shifts / shut down periods. * Ability to read, understand technical manuals and diagrams (English/Sinhala) , whilst being able to teach the junior technician teams. * Ability to communicate timely and effectively.
