POSITION OVERVIEW:

Executive Vice President of Brokerage Operations will serve as the operational anchor of our brokerage business. This role will oversee the performance, growth, and integrity of our freight brokerage division, ensuring we deliver on revenue, service, and margin goals while fostering strong carrier and customer partnerships. Reporting directly to the Co-President, you will lead a high-performing team, shape strategy, and drive operational excellence across the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 7 years in freight brokerage operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role and direct P&L responsibility.
• Proven success leading teams of 10+ across carrier and customer functions.
• Proficiency with TMS platforms (McLeod preferred) and CRM systems.
• Strong knowledge of truckload brokerage, carrier procurement, and market dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

• Lead and develop a team of top-performing brokerage professionals to achieve business goals.
• Manage high-level customer and carrier relationships, ensuring consistent service excellence.
• Oversee execution of freight movements to meet or exceed service and margin targets.
• Implement and maintain efficient load tracking, tracing, and documentation procedures.
• Drive growth through strategic customer acquisition and cross-selling across other TCI business units.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to align operational strategies with revenue goals.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
