POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Vice President, Commercial (EVP) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the commercial strategy and revenue growth of the North America organization. This role oversees all customer-facing functions including sales, marketing, and revenue operations. The EVP ensures alignment between commercial strategies and the company’s long-term objectives, with a strong focus on market expansion, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial team leadership experience required.
  • Contribute as a strategic thought leader that can see the big picture, establish vision and articulate a strong plan of execution.
  • Sets high expectations and has a detailed cadence using KPIs to hold the organization accountable to achieving those expectations.
  • Experience ensuring sales teams adhere to activity expectations and standardized sales process.
  • Ability to architect and optimize scalable, repeatable sales process that will ensure the company growth targets are achieved.
  • Transformation Experience
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Two-step IT distribution channel experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience selling within healthcare, commercial, industrial and education markets preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing an e-commerce strategy preferred.
  • Must have minimum of $200M revenue or P&L responsibility experience.
  • Experience with digital transformation and CRM systems is a plus.
  • M&A process and integration experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership presence with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job as described to you for the position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop company’s commercial strategy clearly articulating the commercial vision and aligning the commercial teams’ priorities to the strategic priorities.
  • Model expected market engagement by regularly visiting customers with the sales team
  • Drive adherence to sales process execution informed by leading and lagging KPIs
  • Ensure profitability targets are met be following pricing frameworks and managing discounting.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Ensures collaboration with marketing, product, finance, and operations to enable smooth process execution.
  • Oversee sales operations, setting targets and driving performance.
  • Ensures optimal sales resource efficiency ensuring rep-to-opportunity alignment and territory balance to maximize market coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Direct the development and execution of marketing strategies to generate demand and grow the business.
  • Guides ICP (ideal customer profile) definition and allocates resources based on customer value and buying potential.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture across the organization.
  • Implement systems and processes to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and measure commercial performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.

  • Supports site specific QMS initiatives for continuous process improvement.
