Description

Records blood pressures, observes patient's condition, observes monitor for indications of positive tests or other complications. Performs pulse oximetry recognizing variation in methods and testing parameters required for various age groups. Responds to cardiac arrests. Develops proficiency in operating exercise testing system. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Falmouth Hospital’s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service. Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. Certified in BLS. Previous experience in adult fitness or cardiac rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

The Exercise Physiologist records blood pressures and observes patients' conditions, responding to cardiac arrests as necessary. They develop proficiency in operating exercise testing systems while ensuring service excellence to all stakeholders.
