This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering team delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to those impacted with eating disorders, while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
A core part of this role is to work collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team which will include mental health clinicians, dietician, lived experience workforce, occupational therapist, psychiatrist and medical representation.
The Exercise Physiologist will provide evidenced informed exercise physiology assessment and therapies/treatment for consumers accessing the day program. This will be delivered individually and as part of a group program. This may include the development of safe, individualised exercise programs to support recovery and rebuild a healthy relationship with exercise via promoting body awareness, improving physical function and preventing harmful exercise behaviours.
