First Choice Spinal & Sports Physiotherapy is an established business in the mid Blue Mountains which prides itself on providing an excellent standard of patient-centred care.
Due to the needs of our patients we are looking to expand our team to include an Exercise Physiologist who is passionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life of others.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Available as a part-time or casual position.
  • Working primarily in the clinic, but with the opportunity to conduct home visits, gym sessions, and pool sessions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Full ESSA registration and professional liability/public indemnity insurance.
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn in terms of ongoing professional development and participation in in-house training and case studies.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, colleagues, referrers, and third parties.
  • A commitment to a high level of clinical care.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will:

  • Conduct patient assessments & therapy from paediatric to adult ages depending on your experience and interests.
  • Help people who are attending privately, and also those with Medicare, DVA, and workers compensation referrals.
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently.
  • Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions.
  • Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care.
