Location: Singapore (Clinic-based)
Reports to: Head of Lifestyle Medicine / Head of Exercise Science

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or equivalent.
  • Accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or equivalent recognised body.
  • Proven experience in conducting exercise and performance testing in a clinical, academic, or high-performance setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), strength diagnostics, and functional assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with longevity, lifestyle medicine, and prevention-focused models is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both clinicians and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, with empathy, professionalism, and patient-centred care.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Exercise Scientist to lead the assessment and evaluation of participants’ physical performance, with a focus on strength, power, functional capacity, and cardiorespiratory fitness. This role will be central to our clinical and lifestyle model of care, working within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, allied health, and health coaches to deliver actionable insights that shape precision health plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct and interpret strength and power testing, following set protocols and using digital tools.
  • Perform functional movement and performance assessments, integrating validated protocols for mobility, balance, and musculoskeletal function.
  • Administer VO₂ max and submaximal cardiorespiratory testing, ensuring safety, standardisation, and repeatability.
  • Generate data-driven, actionable reports for physicians, allied health, and clients, linking results to healthspan and longevity outcomes.
  • Collaborate in developing personalised exercise prescriptions and lifestyle interventions within multidisciplinary care plans.
  • Ensure testing protocols are evidence-based, standardised, and repeatable, while scalable across in-person and digital pathways.
  • Support research initiatives, including participation in protocol design, data collection, and clinical studies on exercise and longevity.
  • Contribute to patient education, onboarding workshops, and group/shared medical appointments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical governance, safety, and compliance requirements.
