Description
Responsible for delivering the most efficient designs through all program phases from Pre-PS, Sourcing, Development, and Launch. Responsible for adhering to FMA, DVP&R, Quality History & Prevent Recurrence Responsible for meeting/exceeding quality targets for Air Induction and Exhaust Systems. Lead teams to successfully deliver on-time program milestones with quality while meeting cost, performance, NVH, durability, and other vehicle performance requirements. Build strong relationships and collaborate with supplier base. Interface and communicate with all levels of management within IPTSE, and supporting functions (Purchasing/STA/VHM/PVT/Quality) Construct & develop business cases for various design changes & commercial negotiations. Ability to share & present work to cross-functional teams and executive leadership. Support core engineering with program lessons learned via Tech Club and other forums. Analyze designs during the development process & address any potential failures & error states. Lead Quality issue resolution using 8D process and other problem-solving methodologies and statistical methods. Support Air Induction and Exhaust Systems TVM deliverables. Lead EPRC/CCRG discussions on Air Induction or Exhaust System related concerns. Support STA and PVT with supplier issue resolution. Support Purchasing/Supply Chain through the sourcing and commodity management process.
