Description Scope of Position: Inspect, inventory, repair, and clean (prep) trade show exhibits to ensure a faultless setup. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Reads and interprets all blueprints on new and existing tradeshow exhibit property. Works closely with the Account Manager and Exhibit Preparation Supervisor to prep exhibit property safely and on time. Applies general knowledge on repair techniques, laminating, the use of Bondo and simple epoxies, and paints. Operates safely and knowledgeably all types of basic hand tools. Responsible for maintaining good records concerning current and past jobs. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and preferred two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General Skills: Computer Skills—To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows 7 or greater and familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability—The Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Forklift driving is a requirement (ECI certification). Limited travel for training as needed.\ Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. A forklift will be used to move anything over 75 lbs.
