We are a growing exhibitions and events company seeking an Experienced Exhibition Stand Builder / Joiner Fitter to join our dedicated team here at Blue Hawk Events.
If you have hands-on experience in constructing exhibition stands using traditional flat panel methods and working with fabrics and graphics, we want to hear from you.
This is a varied and exciting role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and enjoys the buzz of preparing and installing bespoke exhibition stands across the UK and Europe.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in exhibition stand building or shop fitting
  • Must have , Carpentry or shop fitting experience
  • Skilled in working with timber, laminates, flat panels, fabrics, and printed graphics
  • Comfortable using workshop tools and machinery
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly and work away from home when required
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset
  • Good team player with strong communication skills
  • Flexible with working hours – overtime, early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekends may be required

Responsibilities
  • Construct and install custom exhibition stands at trade shows and events
  • Work with traditional flat panels, fabric structures, modular systems, and graphic installations
  • Prepare and fabricate stand components in our fully equipped workshop
  • Collaborate with the project and design team to ensure builds meet specification and quality standards
  • Travel to venues across the UK and Europe for installations (typically 1–2 times per week)
  • Load/unload vehicles, and ensure all materials are transported and handled safely
  • Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard
