We are seeking casual Exhibition Officers to join our Maitland Regional Art Gallery team, to help with the preparation and deinstallation of artworks and exhibitions.

Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRGA) boasts award winning exhibitions, engaging events, artisan gift shop, and delicious food. The Art collection features Australian Art from the 1850s to the present day, with a diverse collection rich in historic and archival items, sculpture and contemporary art. We are excited to add to our highly skilled team and continue to make a true and meaningful impact on our community.

Our Exhibition Officers work closely with our Curatorial team, in assisting with space preparation, exhibition installation and then deinstallation of a diverse range of artworks and exhibitions at the MRAG. The role is responsible for handling a range of art works, maintaining and mending gallery walls following exhibitions and the creation and assembly of basic fixtures and structures for a range of exhibits. There are also components in installation of technical equipment such as lighting and audio-visual components.
