Job Title : EXIM Officer - SCM Division : Weir Minerals Location : Bangalore, India Onsite Purpose of Role: The EXIM Officer at Weir Minerals is responsible for managing and executing export and import operations in line with statutory requirements and company policies. The role ensures accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination with stakeholders to facilitate timely and cost-effective movement of goods. By strengthening EXIM processes, the position supports Weir Minerals’ global supply chain efficiency and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of a world-class safety culture. Maintain and track export control sheets and documentation (Invoice, Shipping Bill, BL, EBRC, RoDTEP scrips, IGST refunds) Monitor and track import shipments; maintain Import Control Sheet (DSR) Prepare and arrange export documents (Invoice, PL, ARE, DBK, SDF, EVD, SLI, KYC, GR waiver, FEMA, etc.) Execute High Sea Sales transactions and related documentation Verify Shipping Bills, Bill of Entry checklists, and HBL/HAWB drafts Handle customs clearance activities under various duty-free schemes Arrange Preferential and Non-Preferential COOs via DGFT Coordinate with Sales Teams to ensure smooth execution of export sales Support activities related to EXIM, Finance, and Accounts departments Key Skills & Knowledge: Strong negotiation skills with Freight Forwarders & CHAs End-to-end knowledge of Export & Import documentation Hands-on experience with DGFT, ICEGATE, Customs, CBIC, FIEO, Indian Trade Portal & AEO Good understanding of INCO-TERMS and High Sea Sales Knowledge of Foreign Trade Policies (2015 & 2023), HSN codes, and Preferential Tariff benefits under various FTP/FTAs Awareness of Export Incentives – GST refunds, Duty Drawback, MEIS, RoDTEP Educational Qualification: B.Com / B.Sc with strong knowledge of EXIM and Logistics. Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in Export-Import operations.
