JOB DESCRIPTION:

BACR’s Expanded Learning Program at ER Taylor Elementary School is seeking a committed and passionate Assistant Site Coordinator to change the future of students by supporting the Site Coordinator in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the program at the school site . The Assistant Site Coordinator will design and/or lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as needed as part of the expanded learning programs in San Francisco. They will be part of an innovative and creative team that impacts the community, makes the world a better place, and provides equity in education.
Commitment: August 2025 to June 2026 (Full Academic School Year)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years experience in a K-12 setting
  • Available Monday - Friday until 6 pm-6:30pm or 30 hours per week
  • Commitment to social justice, youth leadership and development
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities and strict deadlines
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities
  • Support program coordinator in supervision and safety of the program
  • Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students
  • Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom and on the school campus
  • Help schedule and participate in meetings with students, parents, day school staff and after school contractors
  • Assist with creating marketing materials and writing weekly program recaps
  • Assist with documenting program events and capturing photos during program hours
  • Assist with budget management and program planning as needed
  • Assist with planning and attending field trips as needed
  • Assist with data entry including attendance tracking and monitoring
  • Assist with professional development of line staff
  • Attend CBO, school and district meetings as assigned
