Description
The Exp Logistics Associate reports to the Logistics Supervisor and will be responsible for the following: * Prepare various shipping documents such as bills of lading, air freight bills, and export papers, extracting required information from sales orders. * Advise the Sales team of shipments on-hold and resolve questionable matters with Finance, Sales, and Shipping teams. * Contact transportation companies to schedule freight pick-up. * Date, pull and match original orders to shop copies for billing by Finance team. * Calculate shipping costs, insurance, and fuel surcharges for all UPS shipments. * Enter UPS orders in the system and apply freight to prepaid orders. * Enter shipping information into computer system. * Prepare Canadian paperwork for UPS and truck shipments. * Perform clerical duties in support of the * Production Office such as work order time sheets into computer system and other duties as assigned. * Freight bill approvals. * Hazmat and Dangerous Goods Shipment issues. * Assist in developing logistics plans and procedures. * Ensures customer and corporate requirements are met Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
