Authority Officer of the Deck department Masters deputy Ship Security Officer Required qualifications and competences: Minimum 2 years experience in the capacity of Staff Captain or other relevant experience from the Cruise Industry Experience from expedition cruise and vessels operating in Artic and Antarctic waters Advanced Polar Code Certificate Valid class 1 Masters license and certificates according to STCW 95 as amended Good knowledge about maritime rules and regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC) Good knowledge of the requirements under USPH and USCG Great leadership skills Great communication skills Fluent command in English and a Scandinavian language Great interpersonal skills and good team leading ability Good references As part of our hiring process, candidates will undergo standard pre-employment checks, including medical and drug/alcohol testing Beneficial experiences: Experience from new built and/or site team or project work Experience in sailing under NIS flag Fluent in Scandinavian language We offer: Interesting positions within a rapidly growing and dynamic fleet Good career opportunities Competitive terms and conditions 10 weeks on/off No recruitment fees.
