Description The Expeditor is responsible for communicating with the existing supply base regarding deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery of goods, addressing any shipment issues or schedule delays, and coordinating with the purchasing team to resolve supplier issues relative to schedule or quality of the delivered product. Hybrid work option available with 2 days remote. Requirements Job Duties / Essential Functions: · Supports purchasing regarding orders to ensure on time delivery · Runs daily reports for Purchasing and Finance teams · Responsible for VGM/Dropship tasks, orders, and issues · Assist in receiving purchase orders (non-e-Purchasing) · Process daily purchase request · Communication liaison to Customer Service Representatives · Facilitates returns with vendors for Resupply Department · Places orders for office supplies for various warehouse locations · Regular, consistent, on-site, and timely attendance. · Follows department policy regarding scheduling, breaks, start/quit time, properly notifies department supervisor when reporting off, early leave or late arrival. · Completes mandatory education timely. · Conducts oneself in professional manner. · Performs other duties as required. Skills / Qualifications: · High School Diploma or GED · One year purchasing experience (preferred) · Strong research, analytical and negotiation skills. · Professional communication both internal & external · Must maintain high level time management skills. · Functional skills on a PC and related software · Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Excel is preferred Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: These are physical and mental requirements of the position as it is typically performed.
