JOB SUMMARY:

The Food and Beverage Expeditor is responsible for cleaning all dishes coming from servers before giving to the dishwasher, stocking clean dishes and assisting Spenser’s and Fred Harvey Restaurant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a customer service position in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

• Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, using eye/hand coordination, handling, wrist motion.
• Frequently lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.
• Occasionally sit, handle, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat or kneel, lift/carry and push or pull up to 100lbs.
• Will be required to stand for long periods of time on cement floors and uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values.
• Cleans all dishes coming from servers before giving to dishwasher.
• Ensures proper cups are in the proper racks
• Put the silverware in proper area.
• CleanS cart and gets carts ready so you can travel station to station, emptying carts, and replacing with clean bus tubs, depending on what stations are open.
• Help with Trash when it comes time.
• Makes sure area is clean after leaving, wiped down, and organized.
• Assists Front of House staff as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned
