We’re now looking for an Experience Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of our trips. This role is ideal for someone who loves logistics, thinks in detail, understands risk, can confidently use CRMs such as Hubspot / Salesforce, and can balance customer experience with commercial reality. This is for someone ready to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment. The Role As an Experience Assistant, you’ll work closely with our experience and operations team to: Own itinerary planning and refinement Coordinate, contract & onboard supply partners Oversee supplier coordination and logistics Help assess operational risks and contingencies Ensure trips are commercially viable while remaining exceptional for customers Ensure exceptional customer experience Contribute to smooth, safe, and memorable group travel & experiences What We’re Looking For Strong organisational and planning skills An interest in community, adventure, group, or experiential travel Ability to think through logistics, timing, and operational detail Awareness of risk and safety considerations Commercial common sense and customer-first thinking Clear written communication Previous travel or operations experience is a plus, but not essential. Interview Task Thank you for your interest in the Experience Assistant role. As part of the interview process, we’d like you to complete a short pre-interview task. This task is designed to give us insight into how you approach itinerary planning, operational detail, risk awareness, and commercial thinking within an adventure travel context. The task Please design an itinerary for Days 1-4 of a Plotpackers small group trip, in a destination of your choice. Please complete the following: 1. Itinerary creation Create an itinerary for Days 1-4 of a Plotpackers small group trip. For each day, include: Morning, afternoon, and evening plans Approximate timings Clear notes on what is included in the trip price versus what is optional Brief, customer-facing bullet points highlighting key trip inclusions 2. Risk awareness Based on the itinerary you’ve created, produce a brief risk assessment. Please: Identify four potential risks within your itinerary Outline how you would mitigate each risk 3. Attention to detail and commercial thinking In bullet points: List five key operational details you would need to confirm or communicate in advance to ensure the itinerary runs smoothly Propose an appropriate estimated trip running cost and customer retail price Identify one activity included in the trip price and one optional activity, briefly explaining your reasoning We look forward to reviewing your submission.
