About the role:
You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various public areas, including bathrooms and barbecue areas, throughout Yass Valley. This role involves adhering to a set schedule, regularly reporting your progress to the supervisor, and driving a company vehicle to reach different locations. The position will require someone who is available to work on weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Perform office cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets.
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public amenities and private facilities.
  • Respond to both scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning requests.
  • Drive the company vehicle to various locations as required.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Police Check: A police check (completed within the last 6 months) is required.
  • Right to Work in Australia: Must have legal authorization to work in Australia.
  • Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
  • Reliability: Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work independently.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to report progress and respond to requests.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
