Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, and supporting the development of each child. Duties
- Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Deliver instruction to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to promote active learning and understanding.
- Assess student progress and provide individualized support to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
- Utilize behavioral management strategies to support students with diverse needs, including those with special needs or those who require additional support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational program.
- Administer standardized tests to evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and well-being.
Requirements
- Experience working with students, particularly in early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and early intervention strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and behavioral management skills.
- Proven experience with standardized testing and the ability to administer tests effectively.
- Experience with tutoring or small group instruction is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support student learning and parent relationships.
- A passion for providing high-quality education to young children and a commitment to their success and well-being.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
