Overview The Experience Specialist is responsible for basic patient experience, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and visitors. The role extends a professional welcome, assists with paperwork, and guides patients to the appropriate departments. The role addresses general patient inquiries, answers the incoming calls and escalates urgent concerns to experience specialist leads. Responsibilities Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering information on services and procedures. Keep patients and families informed about wait times, provider availability, and any delays. Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues as needed. Offer guidance on charges, payment processes, and insurance procedures. Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
