We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid (Commercial Driver’s License).
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair techniques for basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transportation.
  • Follow all state and federal regulations related to trucking operations.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and repairs of the vehicle as needed.
