Your task Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities in accordance with Swiss GAAP Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information Prepare statutory financial statements in line with Swiss GAAP standards Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, and internal controls Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices. Manage relationships with client auditors and respond to audit requests Supervise and train junior team members and support them in regular activities such as vendor invoice processing, bank account reconciliation, and account reconciliation Assist with implementing new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements Safeguard operations and maintain client confidentiality by protecting financial information Conduct variance analysis Lead client meetings and ensure ongoing communication Your profile Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, ideally with exposure to international clients Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Swiss accounting standards knowledge is mandatory IFRS knowledge is highly advantageous Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel; recent experience with SAP (S4Hana), NetSuit or Workday, is a plus.
