JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Dubai
Job Type: Full-Time (6 Days/Week)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Allround Maintenance Technician with expertise in AC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and upholstery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular property inspections, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally. This role is critical to maintaining our properties in excellent condition and delivering top-tier service to our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in AC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and upholstery.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
• Valid UAE driver’s license is required.
• Possession of a personal vehicle is a plus.

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections across multiple properties.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
• Perform electrical repairs such as wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and general electrical systems.
• Handle plumbing repairs, including pipework, water heaters, fixtures, and bathroom installations.
• Maintain and repair upholstery, ensuring furniture is kept in excellent condition.
• Carry out painting, plastering, and wall touch-ups to keep properties looking fresh.
• Repair or replace doors, locks, hinges, handles, and smart lock systems as needed.
• Maintain and repair kitchen appliances (e.g., refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines).
• Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing cabinets, wardrobes, beds, and shelving.
• Check and replace light bulbs, batteries, smoke detectors, and remote controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and costly repairs.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests from guests or management.
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and parts used.
• Assist with property handovers by ensuring units are fully functional before guest arrivals.
• Provide recommendations for cost-effective repairs and upgrades to management.
