We are looking for an experienced AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) operator for our 2nd shift! As an AOI Operator you’ll be the quality control detective, inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to make sure they meet customer requirements and workmanship standards. Your role is essential to ensuring that our products are as flawless as the technology they support. You will: * Review AOI output to assess PCBA quality * Spot recurring manufacturing defects and collaborate with the SMT Operator, Production Coordinator, and Process Engineer to resolve them * Catch false calls and help fine-tune AOI programs * Log defects in the MES system with precision * Recommend documentation improvements for better quality outcomes * Continue developing your inspection and AOI skills through hands-on training * Assist with x-ray inspection as needed What You Bring to the Table: * An eye for detail – you can spot what others might miss * Solid visual inspection skills * Intermediate computer skills and comfort working with data * Patience and focus for detailed, repetitive tasks * Basic understanding of electronic components * Strong communication and decision-making skills * IPC-610 certification required * Ability to obtain J-STD-001 certification within 6 months Bonus Points If You Have: * 2+ year in a manufacturing environment * Experience working with SMT lines or automated inspection equipment Education: * High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in related field preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here * Competitive pay and great benefits— including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off * Be part of a company that’s growing, changing, and full of new opportunities * A supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matter * Meaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the world Intervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Responsibilities

The AOI Operator is responsible for inspecting printed circuit board assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements. They will also log defects in the MES system and collaborate with the production team to resolve manufacturing issues.
