We are looking for highly skilled welders with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with vehicle modifications, particularly in structural modifications, bodyworks, and installing and integrating mobility equipments like electronically operated wheelchair ramps. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that our modifications meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a welder in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on custom modifications and fabrication.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Experience with vehicle body modifications and chassis work, especially in relation to wheelchair accessibility.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications and training in welding and automotive repair are highly desirable.

Experience:

• Welding: 5 years (Required)

• Perform precise welding and fabrication on various vehicle components to install and integrate wheelchair ramps.
• Modify vehicle bodies and chassis to accommodate custom wheelchair ramp designs and other accessibility features.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure modifications meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of completed modifications to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the modification process.
