Experienced Baker – Senior Production Role Cadence Bakery (Herlev, Copenhagen) Hours: Approx. 04:00–12:00, 5 days a week About Us Cadence is a vibrant brunch restaurant and bakery based in Copenhagen. As we expand our new bakery production hub in Herlev, we’re seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced baker to help bring stability, expertise, and leadership-level capability to our production team. This role is integral to maintaining and elevating our standards as we scale. Your Role You will serve as a core pillar of our production environment, working closely with our Bread and Pastry Leads to ensure consistent execution across all baked goods. While the Leads oversee their respective areas, you will provide high-level support with their workflows, and help maintain the quality and creativity that Cadence is known for. This position is ideal for someone with a leadership background who thrives in a hands-on role, and enjoys collaborating with others to shape high-performing bakery. Key Responsibilities Act as a technical resource within the bakery, supporting daily decision-making and troubleshooting Uphold and elevate quality standards across bread, laminated pastries, and related products Oversee and participate in dough mixing, fermentation management, shaping, and baking Contribute to maintaining and refining production plans, timing, and workflow Support the Bread and Pastry Leads by reinforcing structure, consistency, and efficient execution Share knowledge and best practices with the team; contribute to skill development and training Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and operational discipline Play an active role in continuous improvement in both process and product quality What We’re Looking For Significant professional experience in bakery production, ideally with leadership-level exposure Strong command of sourdough, fermentation, dough structure, and laminated dough processes A decisive, steady, and solutions-driven approach to production challenges Someone confident taking responsibility for quality and consistency across the bakery Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to support and guide others Reliability and comfort with early morning hours Join us as we build a strong, disciplined, and quality-focused production team.
